The Pack 37 app,
explained.

Slack is where the Pack stays connected. The Pack 37 app is the private place for your family’s RSVPs, forms, balances, and event information. No link needed: open Apps > Pack 37, or open #general > Bookmarks > Pack 37.

Just joined Slack? Start here.

When you join the Pack Slack workspace, the Pack 37 app sends a private message to help Scout parents get their family set up.

  1. 1

Look for the Pack 37 welcome message.

It asks whether you are here for a Scout and includes a Set up my family button.

  2. 2

    Set up one shared family.

If no other parent has registered your family, select the button and add the parents and Scouts who will share Pack activities.

  3. 3

    Keep an existing family together.

If another parent already set it up, ask them to open Manage your family and choose Invite another parent instead of creating a second record.

The same family hub, on every device.

These illustrative mockups show the Pack 37 Home tab. Your own events, forms, and balance details will be different.

Your first visit takes three steps.

Set your family up once. From then on, the app keeps the people, answers, and RSVPs that belong together in one shared place.

  1. 1

    Open Pack 37 from Slack.

On desktop, use the left sidebar: Apps, then Pack 37. On an iPhone or Android phone, tap More, then Apps, then Pack 37. The app opens to your private Home tab.

  2. 2

    Set up your family.

Select Set up your family, then add the parents and Scouts who share Pack activities and RSVPs.

  3. 3

    Invite another parent.

From Manage your family, choose Invite another parent. You can also use /family-invite @parent in Slack.

What the app does for your family.

The Home tab refreshes with current Pack information when you open it, so the event details and tasks you need are close at hand.

Your Pack 37 family

Keep both parents and each Scout connected to one family record, with a first-30-days checklist to help you get started.

Calendar and RSVPs

See upcoming Pack events, open map links, and RSVP for the family that is actually coming. Use Modify RSVP if plans change.

Forms and surveys

Open active Pack forms directly from the Home tab. The app shows whether a response belongs to a parent, family, Scout, or individual.

Your Pack balance

Review only your family’s open charges and payments. A Pay online link appears when the Pack has provided one for that charge.

RSVP once for the whole family.

Choose Going, Maybe, or Can't make it, then select the parents and Scouts who are attending. A shared family RSVP prevents two parents from being counted twice.

Find the right Pack conversation.

Slack keeps Pack updates, questions, den conversations, and event planning easy to find.

#announcements
Pack-wide updates, reminders, and important notices.
#general
Everyday Pack conversation. Its Bookmarks include a quick link to the Pack 37 app.
Den channels
Each den channel has updates, reminders, and useful links for that specific den. When a Scout’s den is selected in the app, linked parents can be added to the matching channel: #0-lion-den, #1-tiger-den, #2-wolf-den, #3-bear-den, #4-webelos-den, #5-aol-den.
Event channels
Some activities have a channel of their own, such as #aquarium-trip-26. Follow the Pack’s invitation or announcement to join the right one.
